Let me just start by saying this site does have lovely shoes. They have some patterns and styles I've not seen elsewhere, and having somewhat of a thing for slutty platform shoes, I've looked around quite a bit. That said, the site design leaves quite a bit to be desired. It seems like one of those sites that was done a piecemeal, and never quite hooked together right. Navigation is not easy - once you've clicked out of the main index, it's the back button to get home again. There is no easy shopping cart solution. Basically, the online catalog is scans of actual paper catalog pages, and if something looks appealing you need to jot down the item number. Then you have to get back to the main page to link to the price list. Then back again to get to the order form, where you input the item numbers of what you want. You can pay online by credit card or check, do a telephone order, or mail in check/money order/credit info. I think phoning might be the best option - at least then you can make sure of what you're getting and verify the price. And as far as the rest of the design - well, if you want animated gifs and flame backgrounds, you know where to go.
